Interactive Resorts are proud to announce our recent partnership with Whitetracks Helicopters, a helicopter transfer company based in the Alps offering the perfect way to begin and end your ski holiday in style. Our clients can now book their luxury ski holiday with us, and sit back and relax while we make arrangements for swift helicopter transfers straight into their resort of choice!

Variety, Safety and Style

Enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and a panoramic bird’s eye view of the mountains below during your airport transfer, safe in the knowledge that you’ve selected your helicopter and pilot from one of the largest fleets of passenger carrying helicopters in the Alps. Whitetracks offer single and twin-engine helicopters in both basic and prestige packages, meaning clients can pick the helicopter which best matches their requirements and budget.

Time-Efficiency

Time-efficiency during airport transfers is important to a great many of our clients, most notably those in the luxury ski accommodation market, and there’s no faster way of reaching the slopes than by air in a chartered helicopter. With seven helicopters capable of carrying 43 passengers from Geneva Airport to resorts such as Courchevel alone, Whitetracks are ideally placed to whisk you to the slopes in safety and comfort.

The Models Available

For an idea of twhat Whitetracks offer, we’ve put together a brief synopsis of the most popular models available. This is a non-exhaustive list, but we hope it gives insight into the range available.

Eurocopter AS350 ‘Squirrel’

The Eurocopter AS350 is a single-engine light helicopter with utility basket perfect for carrying skis and luggage. One of the most popular helicopters used in the Alps, the AS350 carries five to six passengers in comfort, whilst maintaining high levels of manoeuvrability and stability. It’s also the ideal choice for clients keen to take in the best of the views from the air, as it has exclusively front-facing seats and large windows.

Eurocopter EC120 ‘Hummingbird’

This lightweight and versatile multipurpose single-engine helicopter carries four passengers plus pilot, and offers exceptional flexibility. With extra wide cabin, this spacious craft is very comfortable indeed and like the AS350, it offers large windows to make the most of the stunning scenery in-flight. This, coupled with a good amount of storage space and ample leg room, make the EC120 a popular choice for longer airport transfers.

Eurocopter EC135

The EC135 is a twin-engine helicopter accommodating up to six passengers plus the pilot. It offers the best flight range and load-bearing capabilities as well as the quietest engine and lowest operating costs than any other twin-engine helicopter in its class. Inside, luxury materials are put to good use in the helicopter’s stylish interior and clients can sit back and relax in the real wood and leather cabin. Oversized sliding doors on this model allow for easy access into and out of the vehicle, and rear clamshell doors offer plenty of space for luggage storage.

Agusta Westland SW139

One of the very largest helicopters in the fleet, the Agusta Westland is a new-generation twin-engine helicopter with an impressive array of fixtures and features and an outstanding power-to-weight ration. It boasts capacity for up to 12 passengers in its sleek and comfortable cabin, can fly at impressive speeds, and offers plenty of luggage storage space as well.

Contingency Plan

Of course if there’s one thing you can never 100% guarantee, it’s the weather – and in helicopter transfers safety is always paramount. If our clients book a helicopter transfer and subsequent bad weather prevents safe flight, Whitetracks will offer an airport transfer service by road with a chauffeur. If you accept the alternative travel arrangement you can expect a refund of the difference between the helicopter and road transfers, minus necessary costs.

Booking the service

If you’d like any advice or help to reserve a helicopter airport transfer for your own ski holiday for the forthcoming winter ski season, Interactive Resorts are happy to say you can consider us your main point of call for all Whitetracks services. From travel and accommodation to lift passes, resort advice, holiday booking and aftersale care, we have it all covered!
